For those who have no idea what a fidget spinner is, it is a small handheld device attached with a number of revolving discs, which you can steady on your thumb or any finger and learn new tricks with.
On YouTube alone, you can find thousands of fidget spinner trick videos. One of the most famous channels is owned by a “professional fidget spinner”. Does that career even exist?
This is not the only reason why you should regret buying it.
For a long time, fidget spinners have been used in classrooms to help young students with additional learning needs. Most users are kids suffering from Anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
It is an advantage for children as it normalizes them with additional learning needs. However, when a child brings into the classroom, it could distract him/her from learning. It won’t be long till we hear a report of another student injured by an erratic fidget spinner.
