There is a new trend on the internet and it involves digging through your old family photos and choosing the best of the bunch. They are being re-created left and right and posted online with hilarious “before and after” collages. One of the best ones come from the Luxton brothers who recreated their old photos and made a wonderful yet hilarious calendar as a Christmas gift for their mother.
What is really touching about these photos Joe Luxton posted of him and his brother is they demonstrate how their brotherly relationship has grown with their age. The photos also show how they tried to their best to match the old versions, from the clothing, props, facial expressions, the setting, etc. In some of the photos, the adjacency of two adult siblings and childhood clothes or activities makes for a really amusing and/or uncomfortable combination (especially the photo of one of the Luxton brothers sleeping on their father’s lap). Aside from the Luxton brothers, they also got their father, uncle, and even their family dog to join. We just hope Mother Luxton is loving the project as we are.
