A Whole Village In Scotland Is Up For Sale

If you ever wanted to have your own village, this would definitely interest you. A group of 4 thatched stone holiday houses called as Mary’s Cottages is up for sale on the Isle of Skye, The Scotsman reports.

Each building houses an oil stove, heated slate flooring, an arched ceiling, and an integrated king-sized bed with a twin bed in the loft.

Two of the four cottages were rebuilt from ruins. The other two were built more recently. These structures are intended to represent the Blackhouse style of Scotland, common to the Hebrides Islands.

Aside from the cottages, 2.6 acres of land also includes the owner’s five-bedroom home. Although it houses a 21st century ambient, the pitched tile-covered roof makes it a perfectly consistent part of the Scottish village.

The village is just a short walk to Elgol Harbor, where locals can search for fishermen, marine life, and amazing sights of the Cuillin mountain range. If you are not interested in renting the village the whole year, you can still make it a summer destination for you and your friends.

Strutt & Parker advertises the village as a “lifestyle business” chance. That is to say, it would be great for someone wanting to run a bed and breakfast in a spectacular destination. There is no denying that the village is the perfect destination for a harmonious destination. It is private and offers an amazing view.

For $1.5 million, you can have it all! However, take note the seller is willing to accept the highest offer.
