Things You May Find Weird That Exist Only In Japan

Japan is obviously one of a kind country. The Land of the Rising sun has always been known by the innovations that make people lives easier. There are some weird things that you can see only in Japan like creative products and new ways to deliver public services. I guess every country has its magic, but Japan is probably among the most magical ones.
Here are a few things that exist (at least for now) only in Japan.
Rotating train sits
If you don’t like turning your back on the road, you can rotate the sit in the bus on the side that you like the best.
Diagonal crosswalks
You can see diagonal crosswalks only on the Shibya crossroad in Tokyo. This is maybe the busiest crossroad in the world.
WC slippers
Japanese people believe that the toilet is the dirtiest part of the house, no matter how well they clean it. It is because of that reason that they don’t wear the same slippers in the bathroom as for the rest of the house.
Cans that are easy to open
You don’t need big nails to open a can. Cans in Japan are designed in a way that significantly eases the opening.
Automated stores
If there is a place on earth that can be said to be the most robotic then that place is Japan. Japan is the country of the robots and machines, where automated machines are ‘replacing’ people as much as possible. In some store there are no employees, and you can go shopping on your own.
Bars for lonely souls
There are people who don’t feel pleasant sitting alone in a bar. Well, to avoid the awkwardness, Japan has come up with a different option- you can sit on the table with big teddy bears.
Napkins that cover your face when eating hamburger
Many Japanese people are ashamed eating big meals with their hands, so one fast food restaurant owner came up with a brilliant idea- to give his customers napkins with photos of human face.
