Fullmetal Alchemist Film Releases First Full Trailer

As if the fans weren’t crazy about the two teaser trailers, Warner Bros. has released a third film trailer for the forthcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist manga/anime series adaptation to be in Japanese theaters soon.
The film follows Hiromu Arakawa’s two anime series and manga series and revolves around the teenage Alchemist brothers: Alphonse Elric and Edward. After their mom died and their dad going AWOL, the two made a decision to take advantage of the alchemy’s power to bring back their mom. The brothers eventually failed and caused Ed his two legs and Alphonse to lose his whole body. The story of the FMA commences as the two embarked on a trip to find the mythical Philosopher’s Stone to return to their old state, but winded up revealing a threatening intercontinental plot.
Fullmetal Alchemist is created in Japan but the movie is getting attention from the manga/anime fans around the world due to its genuine look and stunning action scenes, despite the genre having a gloomy and difficult past. Like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Dragon Ball: Evolution, they are usually deemed the worst films ever created.
But after the two last teaser videos, there is a vigilant hope encircling Fullmetal Alchemist.
This latest trailer is the lengthiest by far and reveals many new, unseen scenes. The film mostly features the Elric brothers in battle and a reveals a whole new set of characters, such as Roy Mustang, Riza ‘Hawk’ Hawkeye and Winry Rockbel. It also gives us a 1st peek at antagonists: Lust & Envy.
Al’s character will be completely computer-generated. Fullmetal Alchemist’s director Fumihiko Sori is also popular for his Ping Pong sports manga-based film.
What fans notice of the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist is that it seems to be extremely loyal to the manga and anime series. Though how exactly the story will be mirrored stays to be unforeseen, its character design and visual style are similar to the original sources as you could justifiably anticipate them to be. Winry and Ed’s scene also implies at the similar humor in the movie.
There understandably remains a feeling of pessimism if the complex world of Fullmetal Alchemist can be effectively carried out in a live-action film, particularly with the latest commercial problems of Ghost in the Shell and the altercation of Netflix’s upcoming Death Note film. People who have seen the film’s trailer might also spoto the visual effects are not as amazing as of Hollywood movies.
But amongst the most popular disapproval of live-action anime/manga adaptations is that they deviate from the original source, estranging fans of the manga/anime series. Considering the film trailer, this surely is not the situation with FMA and it is not difficult to understand why some fans believe this could ultimately be the first acceptable adaptation of a manga and anime series.
If you aren’t familiar with Fullmetal Alchemist, then there is plenty of time to watch the anime series or read the manga before the film shows.
The film is anticipated to be in theaters on December 1, 2017.
