For more than a century after the fatal collision of the Titanic passenger ship with an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean, expeditions to this ship will again be fun for the rich.
While private space companies such as Virgin Galatica intend to take tourists to the edge of the universe so they can ‘feel the ecstasy’ at a price of $ 100.000 per person, the London tourist operator Blue Marble Private will take people to visit the remains of the legendary Titanic at the bottom of the Atlantic for the same price.
Namely, Blue Marble Private will begin the travel tours to the old Titanic in 2018, and tourists will once again have the opportunity to see what the deck of “the world’s safest ship” looks like.
The diving tours will last eight days, and the starting point will be Newfoundland in Canada. The tourist will be taken to a yacht in Newfoundland with a helicopter where they’ll spend two days, and then, in groups of three, they will spend five hours at a depth of 3,785 meters and will enjoy the mortal remains of the Titanic, which on April 14-15, 1912 sank into the Atlantic Ocean. The offer also includes a 3D or 2D sonic scan of the ocean’s bottom to look for artifacts from the ship.
Elizabeth Ellis, the founder of Blue Marble Private, says that after the rapidly sold tour in May 2018, new tours will begin in the summer of 2019.
